When it comes to putting your Christmas decorations away, while a sad time for some, others are glad to have their house back in order. But when you don't have an attic, or extra storage in your home to hide everything until next year, where can you put it all when Christmas is over?

Making Use Of Your Bed

While divan beds are nothing new, how well are you making the most of the space that they offer? And have you thought about all that space under the bed that they don't let you get to? That's why, when it comes to Christmas decoration storage, we're looking more towards an ottoman bed.
Once decorations are away, it's another 11 months before they need to make another appearance. So, if you don't already make the most of the underneath of your bed, make the change to an ottoman bed, where you can store your decorations, and not have to think about them until next year!
Our favourite ottoman bed is the Sweet Dreams Sia Ottoman Bedframe. This wonderful frame is available in all sizes from small up to king size and includes the stunning matching headboard to complete the look!

Wardrobe Trick

While some people have an attic where they can put their decorations, not everyone has that incredibly useful space, or at least not access to it. So a handy tick that we have seen where people live in flats is the use of a spare wardrobe!
If you have a spare room or space for an extra wardrobe, they make a great space to store your decorations. In many, you can even stand your tree box up inside. While the other space can be stacked with boxes, you can even put your breakables in any drawers you may have!
So which wardrobes could you consider using? Here are our top picks:
For a full-length wardrobe where you have the full space to stack up inside, we have the simple Gala, in grey.
If you would rather have a small space for breakables, take a look at the Truro single, or for a little more room the Truro double!

Ottomans And Blanket Boxes

Both ottomans and blanket boxes are predominantly used for just that, bedding and blankets, with many even used for jumpers too. However, as more people are investing in the aforementioned ottoman beds, that's what they are being used for. But if you still have space for an ottoman or blanket box, why not still have one, but full of decorations instead? Not to mention add some cushions and they make a great seat for putting shoes on! Here are our favourites:
For the perfect end of bed storage, the Opulent Storage Ottoman comes complete with a plush top, ready to be used as a seat when you need it to be!
The Natalie Blanket Box offer a classic blanket box in natural wood grain to add a bit of style to the space.
