Everyone has their own view as to what colours to introduce into their homes, and many have very set ideas as to what colours should be in each room of their house. However, over the years, we have seen many people change their minds when presented with fabulous alternative colours.

Think Red

Red. Often considered a bold colour choice, however often seen in living rooms, kitchens and even the bedroom. So why do so many people still avoid this fantastic colour? Well, your guess is as good as ours because we LOVE it.
With so many varying shades of red, it's easy to find one that you like and then decorate the room to suit. Red accents on an otherwise neutral room, can truly stand out. Think cream walls, paired with a red sofa and curtains, or even a red carpet for a bold statement look. We love the Apollo Plus which comes in a stunning strong red by the name of Scarlet.

Going Green

We've already touched on introducing green and gold into your home. But how do you feel about greens?
The most common places that we find green are in the living room or the conservatory. But why not expand them into other rooms. Consider taking a spot of greenery into the bedroom.
We know that many house plants have properties that can improve your sleep, including increasing the oxygen levels in the room. So why not make your room a green and white sanctuary for plants?
Combine one of our fabulous headboards in a selection of shades of green (our personal favourite is the Sweet Dreams Flamingo Headboard in Sage Green) with our collection of plant-inspired cushions such as the Elena Green or the Malini Ley.

All For Blue

Blue is often seen in the bathroom. A suitable colour for a room where the most water flows. However, why not take it into other rooms?
Consider a deep blue or a royal blue in your living room? Pair it off with a nice subtle grey, or a calming sand colour for the perfect elegant yet homely feel. The Elbrook Accent Chair is a perfect addition to a stunning blue room.
Of course, if you are going for ocean vibes, why not consider a blue carpet? The blue of the Gaia Juniper Ash is perfect.

Proudly Purple

Purple is often considered a very royal colour, particularly certain shades of purple. And while we often see it as a bedroom colour, what would you think if we thought about it as a dining room colour?
Many dining rooms are often plain and uninspiring colours, you're thinking about yours now arent you? So why not add a splash of purple to bring it to life. From purple on the walls to placemats or tablecloths it's easy to add a splash to the room. But what we really love is the purple Sandero Dining Chair.
And if you are looking for purple rugs in Tamworth, take a look at the Newquay Berry, for a subtle colour and stunning design.

It's The Orange For Us

Orange is seldom considered a year-round colour. With many people swapping summer colours for oranges in the autumn. However, in a number of rooms, it looks great as an all-year-round colour.
Hear us out when we say, an orange bedroom! Here we have two options for you. Firstly, have a nice neutral colour for the walls and carpet, and then spice it up with orange betting, accessories and rugs.
Or, you can have an orange feature wall that flows down to an orange carpet, with neutral bedding and orange cushions and throw to complete the look. The Lennon and Lofty Cushions are perfect additions to any room!
