As summer comes to an end, we look ahead to the Autumn that greets us. Leaves are falling, cold mornings are rolling in and the rain begins to pour. There's no better time than now to get our homes ready, and bring in some warmth.

New furniture in Autumn

Noone changes their furniture for every season, so we aren't suggesting that you look at buying burnt orange sofas (unless that's your colour scheme, which we love!). But if you have decided that now is the right time to change your sofa or bed, we have some thoughts with autumn in mind!
Start with choosing the furniture you will be happy with all year round. Remember that whatever you choose will be with you, come rain or shine. It's much easier to change accessories around than the furniture itself.

Autumn Accessories

Changing your room to suit the season is all about how you dress the room. It might be that you change the layout of the room, or perhaps you change your accessories.
If you have a pretty neutral coloured room and furniture this is a great base to alter your accessories to suit the season. As we enter the Autumn period, burnt oranges, reds and browns become prominent colours outside, and many of us bring this look indoors. Simply changing the cushion covers and adding a throw blanket over the back of the sofa makes more of an impact than you would have thought.

With the wet weather making its way into the UK, you might be thinking about avoiding lighter coloured furniture. But dont make this decision lightly.
