Perfect Beds For Children's Sleepovers

Something that hasn't changed is how much children LOVE sleepovers! Getting together with their friends, watching films, playing games and eating all the snacks they possible can. But when it comes to where guests will sleep, how ready is your child's room?

The Hidden Bed

One of the most popular styles of beds when it comes to sleepovers is the hidden trundle bed. This is usually a bed, complete with a full mattress that can be pulled out from under your child's bed. Before being tucked away nicely until needed again. All you have to do is find a home for a duvet or sleeping bag!
Our favourite is the Jessica Day Bed, which nicely tucks away to look like drawers under the bed!

The Day Bed

When your child has a larger room, a great way to include an extra bed for sleepovers is to include a day bed in their room.
Day beds can be made to look more like a wide sofa when cushions and pillows are added. This means that it can still be used daily for things like reading, watching tv, video games etc, but can turn straight into a bed when it's needed for a sleepover!
The Versailles Daybed is a popular choice, particularly in the bedroom of teenage girls as its feminine appearance can add to the appearance of their bedroom, while still being practical.

The Bunk Beds

Bunk beds have always been a great space saver when you have more than one child sharing a room. But if your child has regular sleepovers, they can make a great option for this too!
For a standard bunk bed, the Barcelona is a popular choice. However, if your child has a more creative streak, or the room is full of colour, take a look at the Campervan or London bus bunk beds! They look great even if it's just for one, but perfect for sleepovers!
If you already have two children sharing the room, so already have a set of bunk beds, you still have another option. A double bunk bed! This is where we have a double bed as the bottom bunk.
Not only does the double bed allow for an additional sleepover guest, but you can also fit more kids in a double bed, allowing for bigger sleepovers! Until they start to get too big that is!
