Corona Virus Update

Update 24th March 2020
Following the announcement made by the Prime Minister last night, we have taken the steps to now suspend all deliveries and fittings for the time being.
We will keep the situation under constant review and follow official government advice with regard to when we feel we can safely recommence deliveries.
Delivering furniture into customers' homes, unlike a doorstep courier service, requires a 2 man delivery team working close together and invariably closer than the recommended 2 metres apart. In addition, delivering into customers homes often takes longer than 15 minutes and puts both customers and our delivery teams at heightened risk from inadvertent transmission of the virus, even when taking the additional precautions we had in place.
Many of our suppliers have confirmed to us today that they have now suspended all deliveries to our warehouse and this will have an impact on delivery timescales to customers when we are able to deliver once again. However, you can be assured that we will work with our suppliers to mitigate any such delays.
While we understand that this temporary suspension will be a disappointment to customers with deliveries already scheduled and for those with goods on order, we hope that you will agree that we all need to play our part in a national effort to defeat coronavirus so that a more normal life can resume as soon as practically possible.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding in these very challenging times, and I hope you and your families stay safe in the coming weeks.
