Since 2006, Blendworth carpets are a British design company which has been producing high-quality soft furnishings and wall coverings have experienced exciting changes within the company and have revolutionised the business as it came into the 21st century. Blendworth carpets have over 90 years experience within the industry but its new bolder and more contemporary designs have proven that Blendworth carpets have put its own stamp on the 21st Century.

Blendworth sells its carpets all over the world, selling their range in small independent retailers all the way to large superstores. Over the past five years, the company has expanded its product range and, in addition to creating printed fabrics, silks, velvets and it now has its very own range of wallpapers.

A history of Blendworth Carpets

The company, originally known as Sixten & Cassey, was formed on 8th June 1921 by Sixten Haymen and Sidney Cassey; the latter having worked for Liberty’s in Paris before moving to London as a furnishing fabric buyer. Based in London’s West End, the new wholesale business dealt in woven fabrics, Italian damasks and tapestries. Although the brand was renovated and rebranded for the new century their innovative design and high-quality products still remain the same.
