Terms and Conditions
1. Closing Date and Time: The closing date for receipt of entries is 4pm, 28th February 2012. The draw will take place on 28th February 2012 and the winner notified in writing by 07/03/12. To obtain details of the winner send a SAE to: ‘Winners’, Toons Furnishers, Burton Road, Castle Gresley, DE11 9HQ. Entries received after the closing time will not be entered into the competition.
2. To win our competition, you need to fill in the form with the correct answers and place into the competition box in the Foyer. You do not need to purchase an item in order to be entered into the draw. Only one entry per address please.
3. Prize: There is one main prize to be won, which is goods to the value of £1000 at the time the order is placed.
The first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries who have answered the question correctly will win the prize. The winner will be contacted by telephone immediately after the draw date. If we cannot contact the winner by telephone an e-mail and letter will be sent. We will not amend contact information provided. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. Failure to respond and/or provide an address may result in forfeiture of the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant.
None of the prizes may be exchanged or transferred and no cash alternative will be offered. Please allow 8 weeks for delivery of all prizes.
4. Any person who is an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of Toons or any other person who is directly connected with the organisation is ineligible to participate.
5. By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and be bound by them.
6. Competition is only open to those living within 50 miles radius of the store.
7. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise stated.
8. All decisions will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
9. No responsibility will be taken for any answers that are illegible, misdirected, lost for technical or other reasons or received after the closing date.
10.Toons will have no responsibility for the acts or defaults of any other persons.
11. We reserve the absolute right to disqualify any entrant to the competition which we consider has used improper technical means to enter.
12. Use and Protection of Your Personal Information:
Toons recognises that your privacy is important to you and we use the latest technologies & best practices to secure all personal information. We aim to preserve your privacy at all times and will not disclose your personal information to third parties unless it is required to do so by law or it, in good faith, believes that such action is necessary to:
• Comply with the law or with legal process
• Protect and defend our rights and property
• Protect against misuse or unauthorised use of this website
• Protect the personal safety or property of our customers or the public (among other things, this means that if you provide false information or attempt to pose as someone else, information about you may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions)
Where required to do so, we may pass on your personal information to a legal or regulatory body.
13. Entrants agree to be bound by all entry instructions of which these terms and conditions from a part.
14. Winners must agree to take part in advertising and any relevant public relations exercises undertaken by Toons.
